Web Design & Other Side Projects
Since graduating, I've been working on web design (and some other projects), here are a few to check out:
pinpow!-My friend Ryan does his own graphic design and DJ service, this is the website I built for him. It's pretty straightforward html and css.
The City of Simpsonville- I was contacted by Rogers Design Studio to help them make a content management system based site for the City of Simpsonville. This has been an ongoing project. The content is hidden, because the site isn't live, yet.
Landprobe- I was just given the design on this, and wouldn't normally make a splash page, but 'the customer is always right'. It's a basic CSS and HTML site, too.
Devin Rubinstein- My wife is a professional photographer, and this is her business site, it's built on Drupal, with a few choice plugins to make it easy for her to use.
Birkenstock Engineering- Based on WordPress, this site is easy to use for the owner and visitors
B&B SwapShop- A fully-fledged classified ad website, this site also ties in with a local radio show on WRIX 103.1 FM
Advanced Weightloss- Wordpress based CMS, which allows the client to update his info quickly and easily.
Anderson International Festival- Designed by everyone's favorite Aussie, Clifford Newton; this site was for the 2010 international festival, celebrating Anderson's West African heritage.
Upstate Healthlink- A fully fledged Drupal-powered CMS with lots of custom views and content, UHL is a go-to resource for people in the upstate to find health care providers.
Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair- Designed by my friends at Rogers Design Studio, this site is an informational site about the CFHF in Oconee County.
Another interesting adventure in technology has been installing PBX phone systems using Asterisk and PBX-In-A-Flash. So far, I've set one system up for 103 Crayton Designs, a local hair and beauty salon.
