Usability
- Tested and facilitated Clemson University (CU) website redesigns including Graduate School manuscript review and College of Business and Behavioral Sciences
- Tested and designed the CU Human Factors and Ergonomic Society chapter, facilitating interaction among members
- Researched and designed new information architecture for the top ranked website of the CU Psychology Department
- Collaborated and developed new tracking of tutor/tutee data, maximizing efficiency while minimizing resources
Leadership
- Directed and managed successful campaign for first African American mayor of the City of Anderson
- Led User Centered Design team in creating long term agriculture plan in Anderson County
- Acted as Webmaster for ClemsonHFES.org
- Founder and Vice President of Anderson County Taxpayers Association
Research
- Designed and implemented new line of research on Ecological Interface Design as part of master’s thesis
- Led research on creating eye tracker based communication tool “EyeWrite”
- Created new usability test technology for testing the Animated Work Environment (AWE)
- Researched what process users engage in when searching the internet for information
- Awarded “Rising Star Award for Outstanding Graduate Researcher” for research involving pedestrian conspicuity
Web Design
- Using and manipulating Drupal technology, designed several internet and intranet sites for companies including B&B Swapshop, Clemson HFES, Upstate Health Link, and Simpsonville SC
- Created and maintained websites such as Birkenstock Engineering using WordPress technology
- Designed sites for Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair, Anderson International Festival, and pinpow!, with HTML and CSS
- Provided search engine optimization (SEO) for all sites
