Oh, I get it now. :) The last poll could have read "What window manager/desktop environment do you prefer?" but that is really long and we try to keep the poll questions short. Everybody knows what we mean by window manager, and if we'd put Sawfish/Kwin some people would not have known what that meant. Maybe it should've been "What do you select when logging in to X?" but that's a little confusing too. How would you have worded it?

By the way there's an article on desktop environments and window managers on our wiki.

While it's something that people should know about, I'm not sure if that alone would make much of a presentation...but it might be good to tack on to another one, maybe the Desktop FX idea.

About the old poll... while I'm as anal as everybody else I knew what the question was asking and so did you. No need to spill it over into another poll.

Before you go correcting people why don't you get your facts right yourself? GNOME has used Metacity for 4 years now.
