TigerLAN is a small LAN Party held every semester in Clemson, SC. It is sponsored by CLUG, the Clemson Linux User Group, and staffed by several avid Clemson gamers. Attendance for the last year averaged about to about 40-50 people. This semester's event is scheduled for April 1-2, 2006, from 6 PM on Saturday (the 1st) until noon on Sunday (the 2nd) in the Hardin Auditorium. Tournaments will begin at 8:00 PM. The cost for the event is $10 pre-pay at the website, or $15 at the door. There will be pizza and drinks for all who attend.
Official tournamnents so far include Unreal Tournament 2004, F.E.A.R., and Counter-Strike. Don't own these games? We will also be passing out the TigerLAN DVD, a disc full of free and open-source games to play at TigerLAN.
Check it out at http://tiger-lan.net/ and the DVD at http://clemsonlinux.org/~rossimo/tigerlan_dvd/tigerlan.html

| I might, not sure just yet. Haven't really been in a gaming mood recently, find myself listening to NPR and reading newspapers. I think I'm getting old or someshiz. |

You know, I probably won't game much...but I'm still going to go, not just because I'm staffing, but also because of the cool people there, the many fun times had. I may even enter a tournament as target practice for more experienced players. _________________ chris
