Anybody else have luck? Had to disable pixel shaders (dxlevel 70 works as well). The game is impressive. I would not be playing it except I received it as a Christmas gift (I have religious objections to STEAM) but its a good game so far.

Incidently, we're running a 24/7 bzflag server at: ra3.no-ip.com port 5156. Feel free to jump in anytime.

I found some "potentially useful" articals on linux-gamers.net:

Half-Life 2 Linux Tweaking Guide
Half-Life 2 Demo
Cedega 4.2.1

Hope this is helpful to every one.
I'll going to try the demo when I move into my new apartment.

Could you possibly give me a quick walk-through on how to set up a game in cedega? I have recently acquired it, but can't figure out how to get any games installed.

Thanks

well, I got Steam installed, but when I attempt to install any of the games, it just craps out. Won't do anything. I've tried both from CD and web installs. No luck on either.

Got any tips?
