Dell Inspiron 530n

I ordered a Dell Inspiron 530n with Ubuntu. It arrived today. Very nice. Ubuntu is such a wonderful OS. It was only $329 without the monitor and it came with 1GB of RAM and a 250GB HDD! The hardware alone is worth that price. Maybe I will try one of their laptops next.

Just shooting the breeze.

Yea, I would consider getting a dell ubuntu laptop. But I think I want a tablet for my next laptop though. If they come out with a tablet by then I would be very interested.

Yea, those are nice but i would want an Nvidia card in it. Probably be a few years till im in the market for a lappy though.

My laptop is a Lenovo X60 Tablet. I bought it with Vista and have converted it to Ubuntu. I like it very much now! There are still some things I want to tweak (like getting my GT Max 3.6 cellular modem card to work), but it totally works as a tablet right now.

I recommend this Lenovo over the Dell because it has the Wacom tablet technology (in my humble opinion the Wacom does tablet the best).
